Assist teachers in implementing instructional activities and classroom routines.
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce lessons and skill development.
Support students in completing assignments and participating in classroom activities.
Monitor student behavior and assist in implementing behavior management plans.
Provide supervision during classroom activities, lunch, recess, field trips, and other school events as assigned.
Assist students with organizational, social, emotional, and communication skills.
Support students with special needs in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and district guidelines.
Maintain accurate records and documentation as directed.
Prepare instructional materials, classroom resources, and learning activities.
Assist with classroom organization and maintenance of a safe, clean learning environment.
Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, support staff, and families as appropriate.
Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and records.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or administrator.
QualificationsRequired
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
