Sp Speech- Language Pathologist Assistant Job Description

• Provide speech and language therapy services based on student’s IEP
• Collect data on student performance
• Fill out therapy notes for students
• Write lesson plans
• Provide and discuss data with SLP for progress notes and goal writing
• Complete daily checks of hearing aids and FM system
• Cover recess duties
• Supervise students in hallways/gyms as needed
• Develop therapy activities for students to promote learning
• Collaborate with staff regarding students
• Support transition of students throughout building
• Implement sensory strategies as part of a sensory diet determined by OT staff
• Communicate with special education staff and SLP
• Experience preferred
